 Re: ClausJensen - Test Yourself I [14:53]
Great video Claus. Although I did not score amazingly high, I did find most (not all) of the moves. I went through the video and picked 3 candidate moves, and out of those I chose one to try to correspond with the actual game continuation. Only a couple of times did I not have any candidate moves.
Once again you have put out a top notch video that makes us listeners participate instead of maybe falling asleep. I look forward to your next one Claus :)

Very nice video. I really enjoyed it. I scored 24 points. In my case, I believe the percentages you quoted were pretty accurate. Post more of these, please.

This was a good idea. Good work.
P.S. good job selecting a game that is not familiar

 Re: ClausJensen - Test Yourself I [14:53]
one of my favourite videos I have watched so far. I have trouble concentrating on a position when studying games and the incentive of scoring points encourages me to really search for the best move. I spent about a minute a move and scored 22. Great video I look forward to watching the next ones

 Re: ClausJensen - Test Yourself I [14:53]
Well made video, but very annoying from a relative beginners perspective.
I spent about 2 minutes a move and only scored 11 out of 50, which I thought was probably fair for my ability; but that is not the problem.
The problem was that none of the moves were explained in any detail.
So, if anyone reads this before watching, be warned, you will not learn anything.

Enjoyed the video, however, i feel it would have been much more instructive if you explained why the correct move was better than the alternative candidate move.

 Re: ClausJensen - Test Yourself I [14:53]
Claus, thank-you for that test.
The game was very difficult to me and I scored 28 out of 50 after spending about 2.5 hours with the video.
Makes me want to see more Smyslov games!

 Re: ClausJensen - Test Yourself I [14:53]
seems accurate enough I got 27/50 and am 1600+ on fics at standard. Though when it started getting were several choices could be made I sort of rushed through it. Getting 0's on the same move I thought that should be played 4 times in a row. and another twice in a row for a total of 6 moves ugh. Noticed the repeat moves I made in these positions basically turned a +/= position into =. Should that deserve no points for those moves? I dont think so. But then I'm not Claus Jensen :) of course 6 points is worth only about 40 points not really a big deal.

 Re: ClausJensen - Test Yourself I [14:53]
For some reason the pause did not work so had to do it during real video time - bit of fun and I could at least test my blitz. I scored 32. Missed the knight move Na3 wanting Qc1 for some strange reason. Also missed a4 space grab and fell for the Ba3/Bf8 thing. I missed Bh3 as well, as I was wanting to relocate my knight with Ne1. Got to admit to being pretty happy with myself non the less - Smyslov!

Feeling inspired I thought I might give this line a try on icc and crushed IM Alkhaseed in 24 moves! Time to stop playing 1.e4 I guess.
