Hi,

If you like the line you should play it! Personally I don't generally like gambit lines and especially against stuff like Alekhine where it is easy to get a solid position.

I was thinking in one of your early lines where you first castled for white in the video. Isn't it better there to wait to castle? Maybe play c3 or find useful moves because if black castles kingside after his g6/Bg7 then the rook is good on h1 supporting h4-h5 push. At least that plan is normal in some anti Benoni lines where white has not played c4 and makes a similar e6 sacrifice for doubled pawns.

Thanks for the suggestions Zibbit. I'l certainly keep that approach in mind the next time those positions come up. The nice thing about a forgotten line like this is that there is so little theory and plenty of scope for improvements for both sides. Though that one line is a tough nut to crack.

Thanks again.
