Nice ending presentation. It was funny that you mentioned that this was Keres-Botvinnik and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. I kept thinking that Black had a rook on the c-file, but that was so many years ago, when you later pointed out the correction I felt better that I wasn't losing my mind... thank you.

This type of ending is an important one to know the ideas. I have not had any coaching in my chess life (though CV.TV is filling that void now), but I did work with one of Yasser's seconds for a bit and we looked at many R&P vs. R&2P endings from 2005-2007 and were amazed at how many games at the highest levels where winning lines were missed that you covered in this one video presentation. Shirov, Anand and many others have missed these finer points, but then again, who knows what the time situation was in those games, one or both might have had only a few seconds left. Some even failed to win R&2P vs R!

I strongly urge others to view this video as I think it is very important.

Too bad a video can't get more than a 5-Pawn rating for this presentation deserves more!

I have not yet gone through the whole video but intend to do so...perhaps what I am about to write will indeed be covered...perhaps I should view the video first...Nah, I'll dive in and drown

1;Re4 Rb6 2;Rc4...Just a thought which hit me...is there something very wrong with 2;Re5 does this perhaps prevent the Black Rook taking too close a look at the pawn on a4 when his own at a6 may be vulnerable :?:

Looks like a nice video :)
