geez, this was crazy, half of the time I was mesmerized by the pieces hanging on b5 and d5... but I guess I am not yet sofisticated enough to even be able to Najdorf a little bit, certainly will review this when I am older and wiser.

 Re: Dennis M.: The Super-Fast Najdorf, Part 4 [43:32]
Thanks Dennis, looking forward to the rest of this series and your point of view of what is to come.
Fischer amazes me in how he approached the game. He rarely liked to go into complicated lines where he couldn't calculate things fully, yet you see one of his favorite defenses is the Najdorf... go figure!
urmas7: when I was starting out I was most intrigued by lines like what Dennis has presented here. This, to me, is where the beauty of chess came from. Of course, I grew up in the Fischer era, and we were relegated to shuffling pieces around on the chess board with no computers in sight. I understand your hesitation to delve into these lines, because with one slip there is a high price to pay. Still, I think that taking time to learn these types of tactical openings (and the Winawer in the French Defense as well) will serve you well in better understanding the game and even other openings to some extent.
