I hope all of these comments make you feel appreciated Greg! I've watched all 500 of your live commentary videos, and I'm clearly not the only one. Thanks for putting excitement into chess. Also, as others have pointed out, 666...scary stuff.

I'm hoping the Colle/Stonewall is only a temporary phase, and that our hero will soon return to his reliable English system.

I remember there was an early video which mentioned Kosten's book on the English ((c)1999).
That reference may be out of date, but Kosten has fully endorsed Mihail Marin's Grandmaster Repertoire 3 ((c)2009).

BTW, I found some supplementary material for people learning Italian.

Happy Holidays
:D

Thanks for the videos Greg. I've been watching for over 18 months, basically checking every single day for new games. I barely play chess, either, although watching you have probably raised me from 900* to 1100* or something :)

* Completely made up numbers.

Thanks for all the videos Greg, great entertainment and great chess. If you pick Dublin out of your holiday sweepstakes, I'll buy you a pint when you get here.

Edit: Never mind, just watched number 501, no pint for you. :wink:

With that rating you might face Smallville again, that would be really exciting.

There are hundreds of people who watch these videos I think, great entertainment as always curtains.

Thank you.

2400 is more than enough to face smallville, usually 2400 is one of the highest rated on at any time.
