Thanks for all of the good advice. I appreciate all of the time and effort that you must expend in preparing these videos. (I especially enjoyed the demonstraton of how to attack a castled K by exploiting a B pair. Basic tactics perhaps, but still fun.)

Thank you for answering my question!!!
I think I will try better the main line of the Berlin. This one seems to work only as a surpruse weapon.
with best regards,
Krumow
(it is pronounced as "v" at the end)

Re: Dennis M.: Viewer Questions, Episode 12 [32:45]
too bad,that in position at 15:36 when black did that blunder 1...g6 2.Nxd5! gxh5 I saw that 3.Nxe7 too,but I liked more 3.Bxh7+ and if 3...Kxh7 then 4.Rh5+ Kg6 [4...Kg8 5.Rh8 checkmate again] 5.Nf4 checkmate .. but then I saw that black don't have to play 3...Kxg7 and 3.Nxe7 was obviously better

Again, a stunning display of wisdom and worditude. I appreciate your answering my question, and I may just buy a few of the books you put up for sale on your blog in order to help myself study.

Re: Dennis M.: Viewer Questions, Episode 12 [32:45]
I'm not sure where to post questions but I have one. I like to play the king's gambit and want to know if this is a good opening and which variation is better between bishops gambit and the classical (or regular not sure what it is called)

Re: Dennis M.: Viewer Questions, Episode 12 [32:45]
betrayd: If you click on "Training Videos From The Masters", you'll see the relevant thread ("Want to ask Dennis a question?") under the announcements section. I'll give you a quick answer here, though: they're both playable, but 3.Nf3 is sharper and has a lot more theory than 3.Bc4. As for whether the King's Gambit is a good opening, most grandmasters are pretty skeptical of it (I think Shirov once said that White *might* equalize with it) , though a small few (like Fedorov) play it every once in a while. But that's hardly relevant to club players, so if you enjoy it, play it!
