Hey, thanks for analyzing my game-- it's one of my most memorable if not my "best".

For me the most instructive moment was at 23:00. You're absolutely right that i didn't want to let that miserable knight find its ideal square on d6, so i didnt analyze any further and missed the ensuing pileup on c5.

I won't go into other subjective points that would interest no one else but me, but i just wanted to say that i got a lot out of watching this, more than i expected, since i've never had a lesson or even analyzed with a master before. THanks.
:)

Thanks for the helpful analysis, Dennis!
Playing g5 has never occured to me and is interesting. Indeed my blunder Kg7 was also designed to improve the kingside before taking action on the queenside, but I had completely missed the possible invasion on e7. Considering game 9 of the Anand - Topalov match and my own effort in this game I'm now rather convinced that you should exchange the opponents queen to win in the endgame. With queens on there are so many tricks, perpetuals and invasions that it's incredible hard in practise. Even if I don't play Kg7? it's a very long and difficult way to create a passed pawn and requires an amount of accuracy that I just don't have.

In the end of the last game, looks like Rc6 directly (instead of the recommended d7 Qc7 Rc6) is a simpler win for white
