Creating a chess blog index on our wiki
So I was thinking about useful things we could do with the wiki, and one cool feature would be an up to date index of popular chess blogs. What do people think? Also, to get the ball rolling if anybody had any suggestions for blogs to include, that would be great!

Kenilworthian is my favorite. http://www.kenilworthchessclub.org/kenilworthian/Chessvibes usually has the best coverage of European tournaments. http://chessvibes.com/Some others are: Mig Greengard's Daily Dirt http://www.chessninja.com/dailydirt/Hikaru Nakamura (not updated frequently) http://www.hikarunakamura.com/naka/main/Blog.aspx

Re: Creating a chess blog index on our wiki
well, it's not much, but we've got the beginnings of a blog index: http://www.chessvideos.tv/wiki/index.ph ... _DirectoryI'm looking for more suggestions for entries (obvi), but also some ideas on organizing. The entries are alphabetical for now, but perhaps we can come up with useful categories too?

Any particular reason you left off Dennis' blog?

How about "Chess News" as a category?

Re: Creating a chess blog index on our wiki
Excellent! Now that I've made good progress on the endgame page, I'm going to start expanding this a lot.

Re: Creating a chess blog index on our wiki
Well this is kind of cheating, but the Kenilworth site has a blog index that's pretty extensive: http://www.kenilworthchessclub.org/blogs/index.htmlAnother good one: http://www.chesshistory.com/winter/index.html Edward Winter's extensive historical chess blog- updated frequently This isn't a blog per se, but renaissance man, Bill Wall (not to be confused with the wacky openings guru, NM, Brian Wall) has assembled a fascinating series of articles on his Chess Pages: http://www.charlottechess.com/BillWall.htmAnd also, not quite a blog but updated frequently with reviews etc. http://www.jeremysilman.com/ (though apparently you may require a lobotomy afterwards)

Re: Creating a chess blog index on our wiki
Nice! The idea is that once we have a good index, people from around the internet will add their own entries, which I think will be cool. I'll add some of this stuff soon!
