Post OFFICIAL: Analysis Exchange #1
The analysis exchange is back. I know we've had other exchanges, but I wanted to re-start the numbering since I'm hoping this becomes a regular thing. Our esteemed moderator kamus will be running future exchanges, but I'll be taking care of this first one. The goal is to have constantly running exchanges on two-week intervals.

To participate in the exchange, post a PGN of the game you want analyzed in this thread by JUNE 8. On June 8, I'll post pairings. Then you analyze the game of the person you're paired with--either in a video or in a thread in the game replays forum. You'll have one week to complete your analysis (so it has to be up by June 15). Once you've analyzed the game, post the link in this thread!

Only join the exchange if you'll have time to analyze someone else's game. Join in on the action and let me know if you have any questions!

NOTE: You can post your game in the game replayer, but make sure to post the PGN file as well.

What basis do you use for pairing people? I can only imagine you try to pair within a nominal rating difference so that the one can understand the other's game. Is there a particular type of game that is preferred? That is, is it better to post a game with deep complications on many moves, or one which has a few branches but where strategical comments can predominate?

Hmmm.. I always that was the point. That players with different strength give their insights on a game. But I'm not exactly sure. Anyway, I don't think I have an interesting game. It's been too long since I played chess.

To the extent possible, we pair people of similar strengths. Any kind of game is acceptable. Just post something you want someone else's perspective on :)

to make life easier on the person who gets your game: make sure to post the PGN as well (as in the rules of the exchange). You can post the replayer, but the PGN file is more important!

I was Black and the time control was only 30 minutes each. I can't currently find any classical length games that need analysing, though since I'm going through every game I've ever played ( :O ) I may yet find one.
