Hey, I made a video of my cvtv game using CamStudio (PC, vista) and the file size is 197 mb for only 15 minutes.

I must have the quality way too high but I can't figure out how to size it down (screen capture was ~1000 x 700).

Any ideas?

That file size isn't that large when it comes to uploading to CV. We routinely process videos that tip the scales around 1GB.

For your own storage you might want to consider lowering the quality but as far as uploading it there is no problem.

You can also convert them to wmv, which makes them much much smaller.

Sorry sir, but it seems that you know much about video compression. I have a question and may I ask you? Recently I purchased this DVD compressing software http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/ti ... ssing.html to compress my DVD video into MP4. The whole conversion process was good but the output MP4 video contained didn't contain any audio sound only video images. I changed my DVD discs and tried again and again, still no sound. I wondered whether that was caused by the so called 5x acceleration? Do you know how to solve such a problem?
