I love this idea of a rambling discussion of opening theory for the first three minutes. It leads to very exciting time scrambles at the end :)

Thanks for a pair of great vids.

Thanks for your videos,

on move 27 you played Qxf8, basically swapping his h-pawn for your e-pawn. Doesn't instead 27. Nxh6+ outright win the pawn? 27. Nxh6+ Kg7 28. Qxf8 Kxf8 would be the same position you had in the game after 28. Nxh6 with the difference that it's your move and you can retreat the knight, thus saving the e-pawn.

Am I missing something?

I think if 27Nxh6+ he can play Qxh6 (from f8) which would be a problem. The idea of trying to find inbetween moves with + is always good to look for though.

thx for the comments guys

I really liked this video. Comments such as how you would recapture if ...bxa4, and how you decide to capture NxB with the unprotected N -- stuff like can be more instructive than a 30-minute video on the latest Nimzo theory.

Maybe a little more post-mortem and less real time would help with the speed issue while maintaining instructional value.

But whatever, it's good stuff. Thanks.

Haha, I love it how you try to seem calm allthough you won the game with 0.8 seconds.

One can hear your heart racing in your breathing :P
