Nicely played, and congrats on getting over 2000

Even with the time disadvantage of those few seconds after the exchange of queens you would win the a pawn and - the two extra pawns should compensate you for the lack of time. But from his perspective it was very clever to use that small time edge against you psychologically, by hanging an easy draw right in front of your nose. I wonder whether you would have accepted the draw from a lower rated player? Curtains talks about this a lot in his videos, and I think he's right - that as a lower rated player sometimes we accept draws when we should really be playing for the win. Anyway, all this is to say that the psychological aspects of chess are often a greater deciding factor on the point than the position itself, and I guess you can't get to such a high rating without knowing how to use them.
Thanks again for the vid!
