Hi Katar,

I really enjoy this series. I started out my tactical traning with Spielmann's book and Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess.

I like how you presented this and your explainations were very clear and conveyed Spielmann's thoughts very well.

Please do more if you have time.

How many players would have the courage to sacrifice both of their center pawns?

THX for watching.

if the enemy king can be trapped in the center, it is basically a sure bet to sack the 2 pawns and centralize the rooks.

even if the king is not necessarily trapped, it is still possible to sack the central pawns to clear lines for the rooks, like in the Milner-Barry Gambit.

lead in development is the signal.
