This was prepared for one of my students. Such videos I can't give away for free but those who want can have a look relatively cheap. It's a general overview of the Benoni and sort of an intro before getting specific with variations.

Hmm... can't really afford $1 a video otherwise I'd be quite interested in this. Hopefully I will have a job soon and then I'll probaly have the money (but not the time!) to watch this.

I used to play the Benoni many moons ago, but pretty much stopped altogether. This was a very nice primer to the various lines and makes me want to take it up again, thanks!

I have a friend who plays the Benoni *only* if his opponent plays a Nf3 line, he hates the Taimanov and Mikenas lines. When he faces those lines he opts for the KID as it better suits his style and it seems to make sense. He does this by keeping his opening play flexible. I cannot recall his opening move order at this time, but if I remember it I'll post it here. If I recall it has served him well in several reasonably strong national events.

I can't remember if I mentioned it in the video, at least I intended to. Black can play an early ..g6 and then a later ...e6 break. In that case white has the extra option of exd5 in some lines which is not everybodies cup of tea.
