I agree with your opening comments. I know a lot of different openings (obviously, not as well refined as you are), and it is a very pleasant feeling to play something your opponent doesn't like. The other benefit is that you are much harder for your opponents to prepare to play something against you! I know of many players who are one-trick ponies and play one particular line in almost any given defense, these guys are easy to prepare against.

you really show off your teaching chops on this one! thx for prompting us to pause and think at several points. i got a lot of them right!! it really makes this a valuable interactive lesson instead of just lean back and eat popcorn type of thing.

also the presentation is really smooth and well-done in general. yep.

Wow, a nice game in my humble opinion, as these openings do seem very drawish to me, unlike Sicilians.
