LOL, this was maybe your "stupidest" game, but very entertaining and instructive anyway.

only a big champion can plan a cheapo like Bxg6 five or six moves in advance and black will be powerless to stop it.

Thanks for all the new videos, they're great!

Just a note, I think this is actually game #226.

Thanks for the vid!

I like how you beat a FIDE master as if it's just some routine etc.

Thanks a lot for the vids you are the king of chess!

I like how you see the tatics instantly and talk about them. I've done thousands of tatical puzzles; because of your videos I feel like I'm finely getting an education on how to think about them durning the game. By the way thanks for the endgame lesson. You rule.

i'm so used to your english openings hard to follow these other systems, like panov botvinik i know nothing bout that though it seems almost like a queens pawn opening but with isolated d pawns.

Yeah long time controls would be so awesome...all the thought going into such a game... lol

Yeah... you should maybe continue with 1.c4 and get over 3000 5-min and make it even more clear that you own em'

Well, it might not have been the greatest game ever but still very entertaining. :) I agree that you should switch back to 1. c4 as you know it so well.

Back in the good old days, when you were the most active and videos were coming with a good pace I watched like 5-6 videos per day. It was really helpful to me, because after I watched one or two vids and then played chess myself it boosted my rating up. Actually it also showed in tournament games also because I boosted my national rating up 133 points in one tournament with a score of 4.5/5. When I played with the white pieces, I thought, what would Curtains do and the moves came to me and beat my opponents rather easily  .

I would also like to see you playing with longer time controls, maybe you could start to play in tournaments again and do analysis of those games. Maybe it is wishful thinking to get you to play actively in tournaments but I'm certain if you did that GM title would also come to you.

One little note about the game number, it is actually live game number 225, since L172 is missing in action. I think it was the time when there was no sound in the vid so it was deleted because of it.

Thanks, but not changing all the video names because of that one mistake. It would require me to change every single one! Will just leave it as is :)

Slow time controls are unlikely also

Thanks for the post-mortem analysis!
You seem much happier when you play 1. c4 or 1. Nf3. Sure, we viewers play strange things like 1. e4, but it's nice for us to see new and interesting openings once in a while too!

That was a disaster man. 6.Bg5 e6 7.Nf3 scores much better than 7.cd5 but you like the slav exchange so you made that move quickly. Not sure if his 10...Ne4 was so normal seems like 10...h6 or 10...Bg4 were more normal. More GREG videos :-))
