I had ICC open while watching this, and whenever your notify beep (in the video) sounded, I would open my BlitzIn window.

Interesting seeing analysis of these lines from the black perspective. I play the Torre as white sometimes.

I liked the lines with ...b5 and ...e5. Although ...e5 seems good for opening up your bishop (at the cost of opening up the c4 bishop as well).

The discussion of 2 bishops vs. 2 knights was also enlightening. Although it's not exactly a common material imbalance.

18...Kh7 and ...f5 seems like a good plan, although I'd be worried about king safety (as you mention).

If 21.Rxd6 I think you're fine after 21...Bf5.

I'm surprised white played Nxc8. It seems like he's giving up most of his pressure by going into a bishops of opposite color ending. But maybe I'm missing some of the subtlety of the position.

Thanks for the video :) Excellent discussion of clock management. The time pressure tirade was golden.

Hey Curtains,
Great video! I really enjoyed the commentary. Getting a sense of your thought process is extremely helpful to my own chess analysis. See you at the ICC.

I guess I feel betrayed, because you promised that you will never lose again, and you did..! I enjoyed understanding more how white set himself up for the end game by trading rooks. Thanks for pointing that out. As always, thanks for the post. I realize that you are human and can make mistakes. You got one strike against you for NOT living up to your promises; but, I am happy that you reassured me that you will NEVER lose again. I believe I can trust you this time. Please don't let me down.
