I would just like to note that I was so angry that I logged onto my anon account right after this game to play. I played this guy again with black! I played the line that I wished I had played originally and I won!!!! Ok it probably should have been a draw, but overall I think I played pretty well. I wish that was the one I got to show you guys :~(

Knowing nothing about these kinds of openings, I was a little surprised you mentioned that you want to play ...b5 as soon as possible. I would've thought it weakened the a8-h1 diagonal too much, but after you suggested ...b5, I looked at it some more, and the move makes a whole lot of sense. Hopefully, I'll be able to recognize the idea in similar positions. Hooray for pattern recognition!

I thought the middlegame was pretty interesting, although it was unfortunate you blundered with Nc4. But the good thing is that from now on, you'll know exactly what to do against this line.

I thought it was a good observation you made about how when people are moving quickly, they probably missed something. I've done it before, and I've seen my opponents do it after blundering.

Sorry the game was a disaster, but at least you used it to make a good video (especially the part at the end). Also, you'll be back near the top of the best list in no time.

EDIT: You posted about your rematch while I was watching the video. CONGRATS!
