Is there any way we can group the two Double Commentary games together? Its a great idea to DC but I can foresee that it will be a pain in the butt to find the matching games soon. Can we a post a video replay?

I've never thought of that... We should have a DC videos area too...

Also TAE when are you going to put up your videos from our DC?

Hmmm...grouping them together would be tough since people often post at different times. But I agree it would be much more convenient. I'll try to think of a solution. Maybe we could just make it standard practice for people to link to the other games in the thread.

Excellent game. Excuse my poor analysis again please.

I agree your position got alot more comfortable after fxe. What jumped out to me, on the move you castled, could you of instead played c4 threatening his queen, followed by bishop c5. This looks like it trades off your passive bishop for his rook, and you still have time to castle afterwards. Thats just what I saw though.

Great game, well played.

If I played c4 then, I think he could have just taken with his queen

ok I take that back, c4, then white can play, Bxc6+, bxc6. then Qxc4 and if I try to check, he can block with his knight and still has the threats on f7

 Some more bad analysis.
True, I prolly would of played that line if I were playing, because I am more of a blitz player I try risks like that often.

Something else that jumped out at me, instead of moving queen to g5, could you of taken on h3 immedietly with the bishop? Then qh5+, then rook takes knight?

Seems like that leaves him with a demolished kingside with your queen already in a position to exploit it.

Just posting what I see, I am mostly a blitz player, so bare with me, I'm sure my analysis is ... iffy.

After Rd8,Nd2 (walking into the pin) you should have played Bd6 winning the game with the diagonal attack on the 42 square. Or, if he blocks with g3 or something then just Bxe2 followed by Qxg3+ and you pick up 2 pawns and put considerable pressure on the king!

Very nice game!

The sound was a little low, but I managed alright. I really like how you described what your plan was, and how you modified your plan based on what your opponent was doing.

Keep posting, these videos really help the rest of us.
