 Sound Quality
Hey All,

My recent videos have issues with the audio when it first starts up, that is, it sort of hesitates and then it sounds distorted and annoying (This isn't like this on the original of course nor is it like this on my old videos -which I am using the same set up).

Is there a new Encoder upgrade or Uploader that might help with this (or a setting adjustment)? I have turned down the mic recording level to try to stop it from clipping but it doesn't seem to help. I have a decent mic too.

I am a little sensitive to this because I have a home music recording studio and poor sound quality drives me nuts!

If anyone has any tips for me on this I would appreciate the help!

Thanks! 8)

Sorry, maybe this problem is addressed somewhere that I didn't see on the forum, but I'm having some issues with audio being out of sync (way behind) the video in CamStudio. Any suggestions?

 Re: Sound Quality
i remember having problems with camstudio.

WME seems to be more reliable. free downloadable version here:
http://download.cnet.com/Windows-Media- ... 14887.html
(this is old, 2005, but works on windowsXP as well as windows7.. the newer versions are not free.)

Hmm, actually I had been using WME previously. But recently I have been unable to successfully save any of my recordings. Those that I do manage to save are corrupted somehow and not able to be played. Any other suggestions?
