There's no sound- at least on my computer. Other videos still work okay.

Hey guys, I messed up with the microphone. I've recorded a new version which will be posted in the morning (U.S. time). Sorry about that!

Unlucky Dennis :/

Did you already upload the new one? If so maybe the admin needs a reminder to put it up or something. Happy new year!

Thanks in advance Dennis. Happy new year!

(It sounds as if the audio part could be recovered, though I'm not sure how to sync it with the video after recovering it.)

Actually it should be pretty easy to salvage...I could do this even, but I can't download the video. Just cranking up the volume probably isn't good enough, as to get it to a decent level you'd increase the background hiss an unbearable amount. But if you extract the audio, boost the volume and run it through a noise removal tool like the Waves plugins then reimport the audio into the video editting software, that would do the job. I the admin wants to allow me to download this video I would be happy to do that.

based on the below it seems as though Dennis has already re-recorded this video. in that case it would be unnecessary to re-encode the audio.

Yeah I just wondered whether something was up with that because it was supposed to be up a few days ago and isn't yet (that said I'm not sure how the uploading thing works here - maybe it's uploaded already but one of the admins has to okay it?)

Thanks Dennis, that was a very nice grouping of games to showcase the theory in 9.Nbd2. Looking forward to further lectures!
