Chess Video Lesson Contest

Introduction

In our Training Videos from the Masters series of videos you have watched some excellent lessons from IM Luis Coelho and NM Dennis Monokroussos. However, you don't have to be an NM or IM to make a great instructional video. From armis' engaging endgame lessons to BKildahl's colorful live commentaries, we've seen members contribute videos of the highest quality.

To encourage even more top-notch instructional videos from our members, we're holding the ChessVideos.TV Chess Video Lesson contest. To enter, record a 15-40 minute lesson on an opening line, key endgame, or famous game. The videos will be hosted in a special contest forum where members can discuss them. ChessVideos.TV Founder Josh Specht, as well as ChessVideos.TV members, will choose the winners.

Judging

Videos will be judged on instructional value, clarity of concepts, presentation, and accuracy. Each video will be ranked by Josh and by the forum's vote. The 3 videos with the highest average ranking will win great prizes! You can target your video at advanced players, beginners or anybody in between; they will all be considered equally.
