Feature Highlight: Visualization Trainer

Our user base has grown considerably since we released some of our non-video features, and we are going to devote a few front page stories to highlighting these features over the next few weeks. First up: The Visualization Trainer.

Josh believes being able to visualize a chess board is important to improving and calculating tactics, so he designed 3 separate training aids to improve visualization. The first is the Square Color Quiz, where you look at a square on the chess board, IE a4 or d6, and pick what color it is. Along with this is another timed quiz, the Knight Moves Quiz, where you are given 2 squares and must provide the shortest path between them with your knight. Finally, we have the Blindfold Chess Quiz, where you are given a series of moves and need to figure out the next one... all without seeing the board. We have nearly two hundred questions for all difficulty levels, so give it a shot.

In all three you can compare your scores with the rest of the site, so spend a few moments trying each quiz and see how you do.
